Green Oak Golf Carts began in 1999 as a small, family-run business in our own backyard. Thanks to word-of-mouth referrals and a loyal customer base, we quickly earned a reputation for exceptional golf cart sales, service, and customization. Today, we're still proudly a family-owned and operated business, run by Robb Mackay in Southeast Michigan. Whether you're in the market for a brand-new cart, a dependable pre-owned model, or expert maintenance, Green Oak is your trusted one-stop shop.

Robb Mackay

Owner

Robb Mackay grew up in Owosso, MI and went on to attend Northwood University. After college, he spent time living in Lansing (Go Green!) before settling in Royal Oak, MI with his wife, Katie. Eventually, their dream of lake living brought them to Brighton, where they now live with their two children.

Though he proudly bleeds green, Robb has fully embraced Brighton’s black and orange—cheering on the Brighton Bulldogs and staying actively involved in the local community.

Robb has always loved the sense of connection and freedom that golf carts offer—whether it's a quick ride with the kids to the playground, cruising over to a neighbor’s house, or soaking in a quiet Michigan summer evening solo. That appreciation led to the purchase of Green Oak Golf Carts in the spring of 2025.

As the new owner, Robb is excited to build on the company’s strong reputation and continue delivering outstanding service and experiences to both loyal and new customers.

Lindsey

Operations Manager

Lindsey has been a valued member of the Green Oak Golf Carts team for 12 years. She’s likely the friendly voice you’ll hear when you give us a call. Lindsey is passionate about helping customers find the perfect cart and takes pride in working with the team to deliver an exceptional experience.

She lives in Whitmore Lake with her husband of 23 years and their children. Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, camping, magnet fishing, crafting, and relaxing around a bonfire.

Ray

Service Manager

Ray has been with Green Oak Golf Carts since 2015, specializing in keeping golf carts running smoothly. He loves the industry for its unique challenges—no two jobs are ever the same. Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for motorsports and music.

Dave

Service Technician

Dave has lived in Livingston County for the past seven years. He joined Green Oak Golf Carts because it was the perfect retirement role for someone with his mechanical skills and interests. Outside of work, Dave enjoys playing guitar, spending time with his family, and unwinding with online games.

Terry

Driver

Terry has been part of the Green Oak Golf Carts team since 2022. He’s the friendly face you’ll see when your golf cart is delivered or picked up for service. Terry enjoys working at Green Oak because of the great people around him—and he says it helps keep him young! When he’s not out on the road, you can find him spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, or tackling projects around the house.
